Day 1: Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park
Drive to Kibale NP after breakfast through Mubende road and have a lunch en route to arrive in the afternoon. Go for a late evening walk a long Bigodi swamp to search for variety of bird species like the White-winged Warbler, primates and many more not forgetting the flora. Dinner and night.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Early morning at 07:15am (if you are to stay in Fort portal town then breakfast is at 06:00am) you will have breakfast then leave to Kibale forest National Park headquarters for briefing before you enter in this beautiful forest for chimpanzee tracking including other primates like the L’hoestes, Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed monkey and grey cheeked Mangabey swinging through the dense forest and several bird species, butterflies and many small insects, can be seen before you return back for lunch. An opportunity to reach Biggodi for a swamp walk the area is run by the community as away to preserve and save animals in the Kibale forest, You shall then return for dinner and overnight at or Primate lodge in Kibale Forest National park.
Day 3: Kibale Forest – Bwindi Gorilla Park
Early departure after your breakfast in the morning at 7:00am from Kibale Forest National park to Bwindi forest national park via Queen Elizabeth National Park, opportunity to see tree climbing lions and many more antelopes as the drive goes on. Lunch shall be later en route at Savannah Resort and later proceed to Check in to your hotel then Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Bwindi gorilla trekking
At 07:15 you shall be served with breakfast and your guide will lead you to the briefing ground to get the briefing at 8.00am before entry to the forest for gorilla trekking, and later in the afternoon guided village walk to learn how the communities around the Bwindi Park are benefiting from the tourism of the area; this is an ideal short walk. Retiring for overnight later, overnight.
Day 5: Bwindi gorilla Park – Parc De Volcanoes Rwanda
Early morning drive towards Parc De Volcanoes National Park; Lunch in kisoro Town; cross the boarder; dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Rwanda
After an early breakfast, depart to the park headquarters for the briefing on Gorilla trip formalities with packed lunch and trekking gears to enable you trek easily. Set off for the trekking into the tropical rain forest in search for the habituated gorilla groups. It’s the most breathtaking and distressing wildlife experiences one can have by getting close to the animals to get a good observation. The huge biodiversity, implausible scenery and extraordinary views also attract tourists. Overnight.
Day 7: Parc De Volcanoes – Nyungwe Forest parks Rwanda
Transfer after breakfast from your lodge / hotel / guest House to Nyungwe Chimpanzee Park; Lunch enroute; dinner and Overnight.
Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking
With an early morning breakfast served for you, transfer to Nyungwe Forest headquarters at 6:00am to trek search for chimpanzee. You will also be looking for the colobus monkeys that are in this forest, get a sight to other habitants of the forest like birds, reptiles and butterflies. Return tired for dinner and Overnight.
Day 9: Nyungwe Forest – Kigali / Entebbe Airport
Breakfast at the Lodge/ Guest House; Morning drive back to Kigali or Kampala stopping for lunch enroute; Drop off at your hotel or Kigali Airport or Entebbe international airport (BL)
