What started from a Chinese city in Huam n spread out to other cities in the world, causing a lot of thousands death to the people on the world. Besides death the economic activities were brought to their knees, including the tourism sector, where hotels and lodges went silent to no more bookings, yet cancellations and refunds have become the norms of the day.
World over tourism has been affected too much, because of lock downs in different countries to protect the spread of COVID 19, as a preventive measure, planes where forced to park, to the runways of the airports.
In Ugandan, the first victim was spotted at the Entebbe International Airport, leading to the total lock down in march 2020, Uganda Safaris were cancelled, and many work force was lost as there are no more jobs to be carried out.
In October, governments eased the lock down and a few of the international tourists entered to Uganda for their safari that was earlier cancelled, a bit of it to a lesser said most a few tourist allowed to come in , but follow the SOP’s procedures for Covid 19 at all points of entrance
