Day 1: From Kampala City – Mgahinga Gorilla Park (stay in Kisoro Town)

Day 1: from Kampala City – Mgahinga Gorilla Park (stay in Kisoro Town)
Early in the morning pick up and drive to Kisoro Town which is in the South Western part of Uganda to near Mgahinga National Park. There will be a lunch stop in Mbarara or Kabale town and later continue through a newly nice paved road through the marvelous landscape scenery referred to “Switzerland of Africa”. While traveling look out through the window to see the Virunga mountains a cross the boarders of Rwanda and Congo, enjoy the hills with their terraces, rain forests and bamboo forests as you are driven a long. This journey takes about 9 – 10 hours without stopovers. Arrive to your hotel/lodge of choice to check in, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Mgahinga Gorilla trekking
Go for a whole day Gorilla tracking to check out the Nkuringo group in South Bwindi and Nyakagyezi group in Mgahinga National Park or the other groups. Tracking gorillas is a tedious activity but observing these giants play, feed and interact erases the poor memories of finding them. Depending on which group that you will get a permit, otherwise there would be an opportunity to go to Lake Matanda after lunch to chill the tedious trekking of gorillas, return back to you hotel exhausted for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Mgahinga Gorilla Park – Back to Kampala City
In the morning drive back to Kampala to have a lunch stop in Mbarara town and then proceed to reach in the evening. Overnight at hotel of Choice
