Day 1: Arrival in Uganda on Itinerary-demo Primate Gorilla Tracking
You will meet our company representative to be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Dinner and overnight excellent services.
Day 2: Kampala City to – Murchison falls National Park
Have breakfast and drive off to Murchison falls from Kampala, have a lunch stop in Masindi at any Hotel of your choice and then proceed to the top of the falls. Here you will checkout the calm Nile forcing its self through a narrow gorge to fall a distance of 150 km down with a thunderous roar. You should watch out for game and birds at the top of the falls. You then proceed for dinner and an overnight.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Take a cup of coffee very early to go for a game drive on the northern circuit of the park. This drive will reward you with game like Jackson Hartebeest, Elephant, Waterbucks Lions, Rothschild Giraffe, and a variety of birds. Return from the drive for lunch at the lodge and the go for a boat ride in the afternoon along the Nile. You will be rewarded with game like crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and plenty of bird species. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale National Park
Today your guide will drive you from Murchison fall national park via Hoima to Kibale Forest, an incredibly diverse forest of 795 km² that is home to over 335 bird species (some rare or endemic) and 13 species of primates including chimpanzee, red colobus monkey, the rare L’Hoest monkey, blue monkey, grey manga-bey, black faced vervet monkeys, baboons, pottos and bushbabies. You will arrive at the lodge in the late afternoon
Day 5: Chimpanzees to Kibale National Park
Drive to Kibale Forest National Park- commonly known and accepted for its excellent diversity of and massive primates in East Africa . You will go for guided walk to search for the wild chimpanzees, black white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, butterflies of different species and many others. In the afternoon you will go to the crater lakes region and then later in the evening be entertained by a cultural group for more cultural dances. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we take on a morning game drive in search of the wild game and a marvel view of the great lakes of Lake Edwards and lake George, then also the great Kazinga channel. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel to Lake Edward. Both the game drive and launch trip will reward you with animals like defassa water bucks, bushbucks, Buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, hippos, pythons and Kobs and birds like the rare shoebill. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Activities In Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take breakfast to go for a walk through Maramagmbo forest and the Kyambura reserve for the whole day. You will have a picnic lunch in the forest. The walk through the forest provides an opportunity to view Uganda Kobs, cobras, rock pythons, monkeys, phoetes and many more. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Gorilla Park
Go through the Ishasha sector to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home of the gorillas. You will reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Bwindi Gorilla trekking
Go for gorilla tracking in the morning. You will be briefed by the guide at the headquarters about the overall activity. The activity is unpredictable, and therefore difficult to determine the time it takes however, it ranges between 2-9 hours. Depending on the movement of these giants; You will go through hardships but the experience of observing the gorillas interact and feed is awe-inspiring and erases the poor memories of trying to find the gorillas. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 10: Bwindi National Park – Lake Bunyonyi
Leave Bwindi National park, arrive in time for Lunch and take boat /canoe ride in the afternoon on lake Bunyonyi viewing many bird species and European migratory birds can be viewed here because of the temperate climate in this area. Visit local group’s activities on the Island. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 : Lake Bunyonyi via Kisoro to Ruhengeri
In the morning after breakfast drive via Kisoro to crossing the border to Rwanda and continue Ruhengeri to Parc de Volcano for dinner and Overnight.
Day 12: Park Des Volcans gorilla tracking day
Morning you will be driven to park headquarters for a briefing before starting off the adventure with trackers. You will be assigned guides who will and join other trackers allocated to the gorilla family that you will be tracking. Tracking may take 2- 8 hours depending on the movement of these primates. Overnight will be at your hotel facility.
Day 13: Gorilla Park Lodge – Kigali, Rwanda City
Early departure after your breakfast in the morning at 8:00am from gorilla park sight seeing before Lunch shall be served after check in to you hotel in Kigali then afternoon visit places in the city include genocide memorial site at Gisozi. This big place ant it take a lot of time to complete almost to 4 hrs and then a few art and craft shops in the city Dinner and Overnight
Day 14: Airport Transfer
After breakfast and depending on your departure time, you will be transferred to the Airport to depart back home.
