Ngorongoro safari Tanzania one of unique described as the 8th wonder of the world. Area is situated 190 km west of Arusha, between Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Parks. The area approximately 8,288 square km, in size consisting  of the Ngorongoro Crater Lake, the Olduvai Gorge and Ndutu, the Empakai crater and the Oldonyo Lengai Mountain the active mountain in the area. The Area is multi-purpose land where you find people (the Maasai), their livestock and wildlife coexisting and sharing the same protected habitat.  The Maasai, who are the main residents of Ngorongoro, are pastoralists who move widely with their herds of cattle, sheep, goat and donkeys in search of pasture and water. In recent years the Maasai have been encouraged to work on the land and supplement their traditional diet of milk, blood and meat

Program to Ngorongoro Safari Tanzania

 Day 1 – Ngorongoro Crater
Starts your tour in the morning or afternoon from Arusha. Depart by minivan and drive to Ngorongoro Crater in the Northern Highlands of Tanzania. Proceed to your lodge at the rim of the crater followed by afternoon at leisure at your lodge. Overnight: Lodge in Ngorongoro (LDBB) Accommodation options: Ngorongoro Serena, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater –full day crater tour
After breakfast we proceed to the crater for a spectacular full day excursion of the floor to explore it amazing flora and fauna. Lunch will be served picnic style at the floor in the course of the excursion.Overnight: Lodge in Ngorongoro (L-DBB) Accommodation options: Ngorongoro Serena, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.

Day 3 – Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport/ Departure
If applicable we shall arrange for your transfer by road or scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro for your International flight connection.
