Day 24: Kampala – Entebbe
Day 1: Entebbe – Accommodation: Today board your flight to Uganda. Arrival Entebbe: You will be met on arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transferred to your Hotel – accommodation in Entebbe.
Day 2: Entebbe via Kampala – Jinja (Source of the Nile)
Depart to Jinja; Via Ssezibwa falls to see the spiritual healing waters, Mabira forest for a forest walk, then proceed to for lunch at hotel triangle afternoon visit the source of the Nile and Jinja market.
Day 3: Jinja Town
After breakfast visit Bujagali Falls (if you are interested in rafting should book in advance), lunch at the falls and afternoon tour of Kakira sugar works in Jinja, dinner, overnight.
Day 4: Jinja – Mbale (Sippi Falls)
After breakfast depart to sipi falls in Mount Elgon, via Mbale town, and Lunch at Lodge /hotel before proceeding to Sippi Falls Safari Lodge check in and afternoon guided for a walk to all the three water falls of Sipi, you return later in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Sippi Falls – Karamojong – Moroto
Depart to Kidepo National park with an overnight along the way in Moroto Town while enjoying the land scape of karamoja arriving in time to the hotel for lunch, relax and dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Moroto Town – Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast leave moroto to kidepo Valley arrive in time for the afternoon or evening activities depending on the conditions of the roads This afternoon you can either take a game drive around the lodge area or refreshing dip in stunning swimming pool. Carved out of a granite kopje the pool affords fantastic views down the Narus valley and over a waterhole frequented by many animals including Bullbull- our friendly elephant and unofficial head gardener, Overnight.
Day 7: Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early breakfast, go for morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamojong peoples at Karenga and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Kidepo valley National park–Murchison Np En-route Overnight
Depart to Murchison falls National park with an overnight en-route in Gulu Town while enjoying the land scape of Northern contours arriving in time to the hotel for lunch, relax and dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Gulu Town – Murchison Falls National Park
After good breakfast at your hotel continue with the journey to the Murchison falls. Along the way, you will encounter variety of birds, monkeys, and baboons. Upon arrival at the park, you will enjoy the game drive in Murchison falls while heading to your lodge and will stay there for over night.
Day 10: Murchison Falls National Park
You will be served with breakfast at 6.30am, then proceed to enjoy a game drive for the rest of the morning before retiring to your camp for lunch. In the afternoon, at 1.45pm transfer for a three hours launch trip that allows you more bird watching of species like the shoebill and animals like crocodiles, hippos and elephants.
Day 11: Murchison Falls National Park – Semuliki National Park
Transfer to fort portal, where Semliki and Kibale National parks are situated. This drive will take you about 8 hours and it offers excellent panoramas enroute. After this long journey relax and spend the night.
Day 12: Hot Springs to Semuliki National Park – Kibale Forest NP
In the morning after breakfast, drive to the crown and hot springs and then proceed to the pygmy villages located near Ituri Rainforest for an interesting cultural entertainment and experience. You will have lunch while experience the true taste of Africa . Drive back to Fort portal later for dinner and a night.
Day 13: Chimpanzees to Kibale National Park
Drive to Kibale Forest National Park- commonly known and accepted for its excellent diversity of and massive primates in East Africa . You will go for guided walk to search for the wild chimpanzees, black white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, butterflies of different species and many others. In the afternoon you will go to the crater lakes region and then later in the evening be entertained by a cultural group for more cultural dances. Dinner and overnight.
Day 14: Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we take on a morning game drive in search of the wild game and a marvel view of the great lakes of Lake Edwards and lake George, then also the great Kazinga channel. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel to Lake Edward . Both the game drive and launch trip will reward you with animals like defassa water bucks, bushbucks, Buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, hippos, pythons and Kobs and birds like the rare shoebill. Dinner and overnight.
Day 15: Activities In Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take breakfast to go for a walk through Maramagmbo forest and the Kyambura reserve for the whole day. You will have a picnic lunch in the forest. The walk through the forest provides an opportunity to view Uganda Kobs, cobras, rock pythons, monkeys, phoetes and many more. Dinner and overnight.
Day 16: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Gorilla Park
Go through the Ishasha sector to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home of the gorillas. You will reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight.
Day 17: Bwindi Gorilla trekking
Go for gorilla tracking in the morning. You will be briefed by the guide at the headquarters about the overall activity. The activity is unpredictable, and therefore difficult to determine the time it takes however, it ranges between 2-9 hours. Depending on the movement of these giants; You will go through hardships but the experience of observing the gorillas interact and feed is awe-inspiring and erases the poor memories of trying to find the gorillas. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 18: Bwindi National Park – Lake Bunyonyi
Go for a guided nature walk in Bwindi on any trail of your interest- it could be a village trail or one of the other forest trails. You will have lunch to proceed to L. Buyonyi; Dinner and overnight.
Day 19: Activities In Lake Bunyonyi
You will have a rest at the shores of lake Buyonyi or go for a nature walk around Lake Buyonyi to search for birds both small and large birds. You can also go for boat ride on the Lake to search for water birds and game too. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 20: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park
Take a breakfast and then drive off to Lake Mburo National Park which is a 4 hours drive. Go for a game drive to view impalas, elephants, buffaloes, elands and zebras. Rest have lunch, dinner and overnight.
Day 21: Lake Mburo National Park
Morning walk with armed guide and afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo in Lake Mburo National Park, Lunch, dinner and overnight.
Day 22: Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala
After a late breakfast drive back to Kampala. With a stop in Masaka for Lunch and then continue, after Masaka town stop at the Equator for Tea/Coffee break and buying souvenirs. Proceed to Kampala for overnight.
Day 23: Kampala City Tour
Spend the whole day in Kampala to visit (Kabaka’s Lake and Palace), The Kasubi Tombs, Kibuli Mosque then lunch at Nados Restaurant, later continue with the tour to Namugongo martyrs shrine and return via Nambole National Stadium, dinner, overnight.
Day 24: Kampala – Entebbe
Morning shopping, transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch your night flight back to home.
