Day 1: Kampala – Murchison falls
A pleasantly planned safari begins at 08:00am when you will be accompanied by your guide on a drive to the northward pleasant safari direction of Uganda that will include you’re a lunch stop in Masindi town before proceeding to the Murchison falls National Park . Upon arrival at the park, you will begin to encounter with variety of birds, monkeys, and baboons in the cool Budongo forest as you are driven along. An opportunity to enjoy the mighty falls views at the top before crossing the river Nile to your hotel for dinner and overnight (that is if your are to stay across the river Nile.
Optional activities on this day of the 7 days Uganda honeymoon on this day include: Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary , before river Kafu Bridge in Nakasongola. If you need to complete the big five without missing one then the Rhinos are the first on this program. Let know once you are interested so we can include it in the costing.
Day 2: Game Activities in Murchison Falls National Park.
as you begin you drive on this day of the 7 days Uganda honeymoon At 0615 hrs, a warm up coffee or tea before proceeding to a 3-4hrs morning game drive which starts at 0630 hrs, this will enable you to spot the Giraffe, lions, Elephants, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck hyena and if your lucky, the leopard, later return to the lodge for a full breakfast, relax then lunch before going for a three hours boat ride in the afternoon at 1345 hrs, this will give you the opportunity to see more animals and birds as the boat moves to the bottom of the falls, return later to your lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Murchison falls – Kibale forest on 7 days Uganda honeymoon
After breakfast at 0615hrs, drive out of the lodge to ctch the first morning Ferry at 0700hrs, head to Kibale Kibale forest national park 342km; 9hrs drive, through the towns of Hoima where you will have your packed lunch box at Hoima Kolping hotel, proceed then to near Kibale National park to your lodge arriving later in the afternoon check in and overnight.
Day 4: kibale forest national park. – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Leave Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning via Kasese town to refuel your car while enjoying the views of Mountain Rwenzori (Mountain Rwenzori is the highest mountain in Uganda with an altitude of 5109 m also known as Mountains of the Moon), proceed for a boat ride to Kazinga Channel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi National Park
An early morning warm up Tea/coffee at 6:30am before proceeding for a game drive to the Kasenyi area, on an open savannah grazing the variety of mammals including elephants, buffalo, warthog, baboon, lion, leopard, several monkey species, spotted hyena, Uganda Kob and Bush Bucks. Enjoy the various numbers of bird species, return for a full breakfast and transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park arriving in the evening to checking to your accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
At 07:15 you shall be served with breakfast and your guide will lead you to the briefing ground to get the briefing at 8.00am before entry to the forest for gorilla trekking. The guides will then take you through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers to the track the gorillas, When the gorillas are spotted, the guide shall ask you to stand 7 meters away from the apes and your requested that you remove flash light on your camera.
You shall return back exhausted, refreshing at your accommodation for a few hours and later an afternoon guided village walk to learn how the communities around the Bwindi Park are benefiting from the tourism of the area; this is an ideal short walk. A number of different bird species, Bwindi’s colorful array of butterflies, coffee, tea and potato plantations are along this trail. The tour shall be marked ended when you return to you hotel for dinner while you sit with your guide for briefing of the next day program, retiring for overnight later. dinner and overnight.
Day 7: from Bwindi National Park – Kampala
Early departure after your breakfast in the morning at 7:00am from Bwindi gorilla National park. Lunch shall be served enroute and just incase you need souvenirs then you will have an opportunity to stop at the Equator to buy some before proceeding to Kampala if you are stay here or to Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
